How do I get my hair to go like this? Same length and color but it grows outward instead of down. It's not corse, it's very soft, and it's not exactly curly, but it is wavy. Think once hair gets to that length, unless you have an idea in your head what your gonna do with it (but you're in this thread so I doubt it) go much short, like get a fade or something. I made a shitty combover attempt since I'm a norwood 2 with a big ass forehead. I used some hairspray and didn't use like 1/4th of the can like I did with my old hairstyle in order to cover up my receding but just used the amound sn average person would. I covered my temples with a little bit of hair and it seems quite okay since my hair's greasy af rn, haven't used volume foam and - as already said - just dud a shitty attempt. My photos in general are quite shitty but I'm still satisfied with my result. I also used a blowdryer to test how hard wind could fuck me up and despite some fuckups in general the receded temples are barely visible. I might shorten the sides a bit.

I have two questions

1: I have a widow's peak and this fucked this on my hairline where it grows out in a weird pattern, on the right side of my head near the end of the hairline. I'm sure you know what I mean. What the fuck do I do about it? do I just shave it?

2- I have very thick, wavy/curly black hair. I went to the barber and asked for a pompadour. He said that I need to use a hair dried at night to comb it into shape, then in the morning apply gel and comb it again. Then he said I need to use conditioner on it while it is DRY to get rid of the pomade before washing it, then shampooing twice.

Is his advice good? can anyone offer some advice on this? I think a pomp would suit me. My hair is kind of messy but you can sort of see how he cut/styled it
