This is true. I got a vintage store so I've seen lots of early 2000s pieces, and it's lame uncovering how new trendy brands copy the exact same original pieces and graphics from the era and rebrand them. I mean, c'mon, mix it up a little more.

Around here (Southern Cone capitals), early 2000s in a "white trash" key (nu-metal and some gabba) is the new aesthetics for certain kind of hipster: the ones that got into the somewhat recent hip-hop/trap boom, that have some kind of artistic or conceptual stuff going on, and, of course, that are SJW.

The funny thing is... If that's the "decadentist" hipster (the one that embraces in his aesthetic all kind of today's hegemonic values), how would it be the "rationale" hipster? (and with that I mean, an aesthetic that reintroduces the concept of "public decency", with no alt-right deviations). I talk a lot with young artists and bohemians, everyone's tired of this trend/culture and it just barely started.
