Is there any way to incorporate a turban into an everyday outfit?
It is pretty comfy when its above 30° and sun outside, but definitely hard to match with stuff.
I have a three meter turban here colored kinda like pic related that I wore in the desert. I was thinking of just wearing it with a white tshirt and blue jeans.
Also what would be the most effay way to wrap it? I can only replicate the tuareg way but there are a bunch of others as well, including more casually just loosely wrapped around the head.

This was how the berber who owned the camp I worked at wore it when he couldnt be bothered to properly wrap it.
However I have found that you run the risk of it looking like a womans headscarf if you dont know what youre doing...

Still though I was genuinely wondering about just wearing it on a hot summer day but its definitely tricky.
Most arabs here in germany arent north africans anyways, which Im thinking would be the only kind of people who would actually hate on me for wearing anything tuareg.

I have some more clothes from morocco but its all mountain stuff that doesnt work with a turban. Didnt have a chance to go to a tourist store in the desert to buy the silk outfit.
Actually iirc the guy who owned the camp mostly matched the turban with tshirt and cargoshorts, but since he was an old berber with leatherlike skin, I doubt there would be a piece of clothing he wouldnt look fresh as fuck in.

You can certainly incorporate some elements like in >>13405753 of the silk scarf around your neck and the particular style of layering + colour scheme but then you're getting closer to the Bohemian style, like pic related but with more layers. Which should be ok in Europe, if a little 'out there'.

Im already wearing two sweaters from the rif mountains which occasionally give me pretty neutral comments since they do stand out.
Wearing the turban as a scarf wouldnt be odd at all but also defeat the purpose of keeping me cool. I guess I could find a qay to casually wear it as a half scarf/ half hood thing against the sun, but as I said theres a slim line between that and a womans headscarf...

I think certain pieces of ethnic clothing can be worn by anyone if the circumstances are right.
I wouldnt wear it if it wasnt genuinely practical, but since a turban is mostly practical for intense heat combined with strong winds I think it can be pulled of on a few days a year here.
Have also thought about using it in heavy snow since it also keeps warm if its too cold but Ill have to wait for next winter for that...

Fedoras, aside from having been ruined, are only bad because the people who wear them are both usually obese and have no actual clue about hat culture (ie when to take it off, how to hold it etc).
I sorta know how, when and why to wear a turban so imo that puts me at least a few levels above those people...

Sikhs wear turbans religiously. Styling them is a regional thing and sikhs I know in the states either cut their hair or wear bandanas/beanies instead on a daily basis if they keep their hair. Full on turbans are for sundays.

Nah I live within miles of the nation's capital and there was a kid in my school who must've had it knocked off by a bully at some point in his life. Also regularly see them wearing them elsewhere. The only Sikh I saw that sported a bandana was during highschool and had probably gone rogue disobeying his parents and hung around with a sketchy crowd of weed smoking and dealing niggers.
