Honestly, it depends. If you wear them once in a while for some formal event just get a H&M or Zara or whatever Suit. Fuck wool, fuck canvassed, fuck details, just make sure it fits well.

If you wear it often/daily get decent suits. Make sure it‘s wool. 5% Elasthan max. No Polyester. Make sure it fits, make sure it‘s well constructed (canvassed, not glued).
Avoid Boss, it‘s overpriced and only ok on sale. Know your shit before you buy it. Get it tailored. MTM is bullshit unless you need it because of weird proportions. Get off the rack or go full bespoke. Consider personalising it if you do (side adjusters, ticket pocket...).

Personally I think of suits as only being appropriate for funerals, nightly events - or at least after 6PM - but really I see a lot of people wearing them to work and nobody really thinks much of it.

I wouldn't really advise it for a job interview, though. Charcoal would work better.
