I feel bad that people are putting permanent marks on their skin for a fleeting moment in fashion. I'm not against tattoos in general, they're pretty cool, and I have 3 myself. But I never followed trends in tattooing, or tried to capture the aesthetic of the moment in fashion with my tattoos. If I had, I'd have some embarrassing nautical star tattoos from highschool (which dates me lol), crossed arrows and straight razor tattoos from college, a trad american from last year, and I'd probably be planning my skelly-woodcut, tarot card, or tattoo with a rectangular border right now.

Hmm, depends one where you wanna put it. It's more likely they'll trace and redraw it slightly to remove some of the detailing and make it better for skin. I imagine you could probably take it down to somewhere like..15cm minimum before you have to start worrying about detail loss. 20-30cm would give more than enough room.

put some lotion on it or *something* but don't get it too goopy
you don't want it to crack or peel off.. maybe a little something around the edges
