What shoes to wear in summer for a girl?

I wear DM Chelsea boots in winter and generally dress kind of masculine, plain oversized shirts + dark jeans/skirt. But summer is here and I can’t wear big boots in this heat. I don’t really ‘get’ sneakers like vans/fancy nikes and I like walking around so delicate pumps don’t seem suitable and I want to wear them to work so Birkenstocks (which I wear at home) aren’t acceptable. I’m 5’10 and thin so feel awkward and oversized in heels.
