So I've been dealing with dandruff all my life and always used shampoos that get rid of it, figured out that the best solution I've found is having different ones and using them on a rotation but even then it still sometimes occurs, is there any snake oil available to permanently rid me of it?
I've heard from some people it's your diet but I've had it most of my life and had unhealthy/healthy diets all throughout with no noticeable change during them.

Your hair is in the purgatory area of being too short to look good or textured but too long to be smart looking. I would recommend growing your hair out more on the top, bc it worked well for me. To get a textured look, use a blow dryer. Matte paste usually works well to sustain a textured look throughout the day. If this doesn't work out for you, then maybe an undercut might work? Idk, but now stop bitching about not getting responses.

First, you need curly hair.
then you need to stop using sulfate shampoos more that once a month
then figure out what combo of products gets the results you want thats not frizzy.
I use deva curl no poo, and bbcurl cream for extra definition some days.
I use morracan oil whenever i shampoo so it wont get tangled and matted
The key for me is to leave the nopoo in the hair then scrunch it
Thats when you use a microfiber and grab and squeeze parts of your hair and push it against your scalp to get most of the water out. Then DONT TOUCH IT. Let it air dry. After its dry i may scrunch it again to get out some of the stringyness.
Only ever detangle with a wide tooth comb when your hair is slimy with conditioner.

Curly hair is a blessing and a curse. it can look spectacular, or really bad, and you can damage it if you do the wrong things. I currently need a haircut, went to the beach for a week and did a lot slicking my hair back with my hands when it was matted with salt and chlorine water. Its got some frizz damage.

You could try a couple different things. I dunno what your after shower routine is but I like to put some mousse on my roots and blow dry them with my head upside down to give them some lift. That and put a few drops of some oil (argan/shea whatever) through the ends and running fingers through until dry. i dont think so. its only basic in a bad way when it is too many shades lighter than your natural colour, or you get a weird line across your hair like a dip dye. it tends to look quite natural, especially in summer.

i think so, or they might have some shorter mid length layers which might frame the face (like chin length?)

not sure about the colour, the dark mauve is purple right? i have pink layers in my hair and they fade very fast whereas the blonde toning would last longer. so it depends how much work you want to put in/how often you want to dye it.

how the hell do i grow my hair out? If I just let it grow out, the sides grow and spike out a bit so it looks really messy and bad. I usually ask for the usual short sides nothing off the top, but it usually ends up as a pretty short french crop with too much off the top taken off (unless i want an awkward looking mushroom on my head).

I used to have hair just like that, the cheapest option i ever found is loreal out of bed hair jizz. You gotta wait for the hair to be alllllmost dry but not completely and just work that shit in mostly at the tips. Either I do nothing to it, and it’s greasy, stringy, uncontrollable (not in a good way). I use shampoo, it’s poofy and uncontrollable. Conditioner and it’s flat and stringy. Any kind of product, I look like a middle schooler with plastic hair, plus it sweats out onto my forehead.
