Thinking about buying a pair of ultraboosts as general everyday wear to random bullshit kind of shoe, mainly because I've heard they are insanely light and super comfortable.
Is it worth it if I'm not really going to do any kind of running/sport with them? Are there any rip-offs that offer similar comfort at a smaller price point if I don't really give too much of a shit about how the brand and how they look?

i have a pair of old puma suedes that after using it almost daily for like 5 years have the insole super fucked up. i really like the old weathered look of the suede it has at this point though so i'd like to keep using them
can i just replace the insole myself somehow or should i try finding a shoemaker that can do it or is it just a lost cause entirely? never done anything like this

Just remove the insole yourself, it should only be glued to the shoe.
You can get replacement insoles super cheap basically everywhere, get ones that are too big for your shoes, then use your old insoles as pattern to cut the new ones to fit perfectly.

hey, welcome to 2016, you'll like it here. Ub's really only make sense as a "lifestyle" shoe. There's way better options for running. The NMD, iniki, pure boost and 93/17 are comparable boost shoes at a cheaper price point. Ultraboost seems to be a higher profile model despite being pretty widely available and not "hyped" in that streetwear sense of the word.

3 - Babbys first Jordan. Modern retros are so bulky they look like skater shoes.
4 - quality design. Very easy to wear.
5 - Best Jordan for daily wear. Understated with pants. Just loud enough with shorts or tongue popped. Get better with age with yellowed/gum bottoms.
6 - quality design. Lots of interesting details.
7 - ghetto tier trash. Poor man's VI
8 - great for kids.
9 - stellar design. OG black/white will be forever be classic.
10 - Nostalgic for me, but not a huge fan.
11 - Played out. Babbys second jordan. Still a great design.
12 - quality design.
13 - really eye catching and organic amazing performer on court.
14 - perfect evolution from the 13. One of my personal favorites.
15 - criminally underrated. Way ahead of its time.
16 - Favorite J design-wise. Perfect blend of old and new.
17 - Well executed with very high quality. Made for an aging MJ so while his older shoes were good for agility, this was a better big man's shoe.

AM 1 - classic, but like thè aJ1, not for me.
Air Stab (mx88) - a step in the right direction.

Air max lite (mx89) - poor proportions. Do not like.

Max 90 - Classic. Easy to wear.

Max Bw (mx91) - not bad but not a huge fan.

Structure - killer design. Prefer them to 180s.

180 - Very Nice design. Easy to wear with anything.

Tailwind (mx92) - nope. Not a fan. You dad shoe fags can keep these.

93 - far from a favorite. Always looked incomplete.

94 - OG 94 is trash. Burst upper is a major improvement.

95 - Classic, but far from a favorite.

96 - OG is nice. Love how the midsole flows with the upper. 96 II is dad tier trash.

97 - slick design. Looks better on shelves than feet.

98 - always preferred over 97s. Can't beleive the are popular now.

99 - possibly my favorite AM of all time. Pic relate.

Deluxe - Another personal favorite.

TN - Classic and another fav. These like the Jordan XIV, I really enjoy wearing because they're stimulating from the wearer point of view.

TN 2 - not as iconic as the OG, but very nice. Retro is needed.

TN 3 - really interesting design but shit colorways. Quality control in these wad shit though.

TW 1-3 - not a fan

TW 4 - nice, if not a bit reddish. Prefer TNs but not bad.

TW 5 - Very Nice angular design. 5.5s are way better though. Borrowed a lot of TN elements and executed well. Another pair with wearers POV in mind.

98 TL - just technical enough to kick the dad vibe. One of the best midsole units ever. Proper retro+ colorways would crush these.

Max 00 - really cool design. Wish I still had my black/mens. Love to see a retro.

Max 01- really liked the tubular air concept and cyborg look of these.

Def does. Neutral colors always age better than bright ones. Black,white,grey,tan, brown,slate, etc. You also have to keep them somewhat clean. Not restoration perfect, but not beat as fuck.

So i recently have gotten into sneakers, and i wanted to get the Jordan 1 shadows. i was late and they sold out on nike.com and sneakrs app. but today i checked the footlocker site and they still had plenty. am i going to get a lesser pair, is there a mistake at footlocker showing shoes they dont have in stock, or did they just not sell so well as everybody said?

there's a difference between beat up and clean. 1s look great worn down and creased up, but you still have to clean the soles, laces and tongue. others, like the 11 and 13 especially need to be kept immaculate on all fronts to look right. Others like predominately black 8s, let's say, don't really show wear.

I think Jordans look best when they're "well worn, but taken care of." there's kind of a "pride" in how you should wear them that isn't there with other shoes that look good all gnarly.
