I think it's a bold piece and therefore needs to be part of a bold fit, otherwise it will just be about the jacket. It'll overpower everything and just look like OP is fishing for attention with a crazy jacket. It needs cohesion and context. Like a pattern shirt, some earth tone corduroys and a pair of aviator shades. If you want to rock a piece like that you need to commit to the whole look IMO.

Would be skeptical. The material quality is probably fine but these could very well have been sitting in some government storehouse for years in less than ideal conditions which caused issue. If inexpensive I would go ahead and give it a shot. Military surplus is always a bit of a roulette regardless as even quality items are mixed in with mediocre even if identical grade can change year to year depending on who takes government contract.

However, if yo do receive a counterfeit product eBay might require you to produce a document from the manufacturer that the item you received is a counterfeit, and getting this kind of document can be difficult depending on the manufacturer.

Look at seller ratings, study item carefully and only bid on items that other people are interested in, as well.
