Can cowboy/work boots be effay?

>> No.13322646

>tfw first pair of cowboy boots (Ariat) developed a problem with the ball of the foot on the right one, and now they're unwearable due to discomfort
>Don't want to spend a bunch of money on a good quality pair unless I know that they'll be comfortable

Kind of a Catch-22, but I know I'll end up with some down the road

I own the exact pair in OPs post. They're filthy as hell from working in them, but I feel like there's a way to sport them out of work

That is some truly unpleasant footwear.
They've managed to combine the ugliness of a work boot with the fagotry of a cowboy boot in the most clashing way possible.

I have a pair of low cut zip up cowboy boots from Durango. Like $60 on sale and they're really well made it seems like. Pic related. Little dirty sorry

I have the Duke and Nash.
Took me about a week of regular wear to get used to the style and fit. But they were comfortable from the first time I put them on.

I don't see anything wrong with the black ankle cowboy boots. OP's boots are fine for work and nothing else, but the black cowboy boots look better than Chelsea boots in my opinion, more manly. I'm gonna buy some

Absolutely takes a certain kind of person to wear tooled leather, seconding this. Get quality work boots and take care of them.

Also, cowboy boots << space cowboy boots
