Love their stuff. Looks great, great company, great quality, but I'm a poorfag.

How to be /fa/ and /out/ while being a poor American college kid? Without just buying 100% milsurp. Don't get me wrong, I love larping just as much as the next fag, but being poor means being a minimalist and wearing what little clothing I have wherever I have to go so I need to not look like a larping fag whenever I go buy milk or something.

Man, I know that feel. My advice is check out Ebay, I've been able to score some old North Face, J Crew, Pendleton, Woolrish, etc on there. Haven't been able to snag any Fjallraven yet, but I've come close. Or if there's a Marshalls, TJ Max, Burlington Coat Factory, etc near by check them out.

Don't go out and buy a bunch of garbage that you will regret later. I've done that too many times. Everything I buy now has to serve a purpose, I've wasted a lot of money on shit I don't even wear. I'd rather save money and buy a few good jackets for different weather, than a bunch of jackets that I'm not happy about. Gotta budget yo.

Pro tip: grind coffee really coarse, prepare by putting loads into a kettle over open fire, stir and bring to a very short boil as you're stirring, then set aside and wait a few minutes. Then pour carefully to not stir up the grounds. No filter, no gear, no nothing needed. Serve with some 'coffee cheese' and some wild cloud berries. It's called "kokkaffe" in Sweden and is great for lightweight camping/hiking.

Last I checked Turks been around a bit longer than cowboys my friend, but yeah. In the end the reasons why the Turkish version is better are that they use an extra fine grind and a special pot for the coffee, as well as a sort of a double boil to do it. But just getting the finest grind with you next time when camping will get you a long way...or a moka pan.
