A military uniform used in any given era does not represent the politics of the crountry even if said political faction is strongly dominant. Soldiers in the German army in the 1930s and 1940s could have been just patriotic or culturally interested in soldiery. To display an outfit that represents an ideology or philosophy, post something that that ideology brings to the table that isn't like the others or specific aspects of it manifested in clothing.

If, say, i wanted to post inspo for /communistcore/ i could post anyone who was even just remotely interested in communism and might have not even lived under its rule, someone who's writings have virtually nothing to do with politics but my liking of that person and those politics attaches both for my own purpose.
