What the fuck is wrong with you people? Why must you insist on buying mountaineering gear and never use it for its intended function? You are the reason Arcteryx and Canada Goose are stupid expensive

I got these boots to have outdoor boots that I can also use in the city. They are really good hiking boots and I remain comfy and looking good when the weather is bad in the city...I guess I am spot on their target group?

I don't know (of care) about Canada Goose, but the reason Arc'teryx is so expensive that they have invented most of the tech behind modern hiking gear, thus they have built a brand (within good reason) that is aimed to those who want the best product available first and look at the price second. This of course doesn't mean that their jacket that is twice as expensive would be twice as good, but you get my point. Some techwear nerd buying Arc'teryx has nothing to do with the price.

berg MUSKOX, they cost less than 100 bucks and they are not made in china. They are made in Bulgaria or Portugal, I can't remember.

Seems to cost 130 euros in their website, but that's still a very good price for a Vibram sole and waterproof liner.

That's way too much. I bought a pair like for 80 or something, I can't remember.
