I ordered converse shoes from converse.ca

I patiently awaited a week for them to arrive, since it's coming from Montreal and I live in Edmonton

Delivery day, I stay home for the afternoon

Then several minutes later, I get the delivered notification email

Wtf? I look out the front door and I see nothing. I heard no one come to our front door, no one rung the bell. It snowed a bit that day and there weren't even footprints

I called FedEx customer service immediately for them to start an investigation. It has been past two business days and they still don't have the result. I hope I get an answer tomorrow, I want a refund asap so I can buy new white shoes elsewhere.

Fucking FedEx I can't believe they never came to my door and marked it delivered. Do they usually pull this shit?

You know what's weird, I've been wearing size 9 ever since I was 17 about 6 years ago, and the shoes have always fit me so far or been slightly too big even.

Yet I got my foot measured yesterday and I'm at least a 9.5, maybe a 10. I bought a pair of Air Max Pluses and the 9s were way too tight but the 9.5s felt right.

But I've worn Adidas Superstars, Nike Foamposites, and some random Vans at size 9 and they all fit.

But Nike does have the Air Force 1 which is way nicer than the Superstar and only slightly more expensive. And their Huaraches and Prestos are pretty hot too right now, plus their Air Max 90s and 95s have always been popular

The NMD feels very different. The primeknit is much thinner and not really supportive at all, so while the Ultraboost feels like a very firm and supportive sock, the NMD is closer to feeling like wearing nothing at all, well besides the very thick sole that is. NMDs also don't have insoles so they feel a bit rougher than UB in that aspect, the insole does give quite a bit of extra cushion.

I prefer the NMD for walking and just hanging around in, but Ultra Boost is much better for running since the NMD doesn't have any kind of support.

Not really. They aren't a very durable shoe - if you want a pair that still has life left in the soles you'll need to pay upwards of $500, and then I wouldn't really want to wear those as they do wear out very quickly. If you're cool with replicas then sure, it's a nice looking shoe but the price they still go for really isn't justifiable. Maybe they'll stop being cool in a few years and the prices will go down, at least with V2s you can get the most recent colorways for not much markup from retail price already.

They're an upgrade from r1 but they aren't on the level of Ultra boosts . They also have an inner brick that is uncomfortable but offer stability. ultra boost does not have that restrictive brick which makes UB boost feel more squishy and better overall. Keep in mind that despite UB being the general consensus of being the most comfortable boost sneaker there are others that contenders such as Yeezy v2's, EQT 93/17, Ultra boost mid atr and any sneaker with the OG pure boost sole. Yeah that was the plan, I've looked at the prices on Grailed.
Regarding durability, I'm coming from Uncaged Ultraboosts so I know it's not a really tough shoe. They did hold fine for me for the past year and they both appear to be made out of the same materials.

But the most important thing for me are the aesthetics and I can't really find anything else that I like other than that pair of old yeezys.
V2s are not that bad IMO but I'm not feeling the colorways.

I'm looking to cop a new pair of beaters and I really like the Club C. Problem is I wear a lot of wider jeans and 7/8 pants/trousers, and I assume that very slim shoes like the Club C won't look very flattering with such pants.
Right now I'm undecided if I should cop a pair of AF1 black lows(I have a pair of highs but I really like this damn shoe) or pic related, Nike Internationalist.

/fa/ I need some help. My hips are wide and my tights are big. I am by no means fat but I can't find jeans that fit well. All jeans that sit nice on my tights are way too big for my waist and there is no way they'll fit in pants that match my waist. I know the answer is to tailor them but is it easier to buy straight jeans and taper or tailor the waist? Also any tips would help.
