They're good shoes m8. They admittedly get shilled on Reddit's r/goodyearwelt sub a lot as being one of the best entry level shoes on the market, especially when factory seconds go on sale. you can't go wrong with their classics like the Park Avenues and it's varients. Meermin also offers great shoes at a similar price point, although I have not tried them out personally

I have that Shoe, it's a nice shoe good stater shoe, I wouldn't wear it for a wedding, better to have a pair of button boots made up for your morning coat, it's your wedding might as well go all the way instead of half assing it.

Get Allen Edmonds for the quality and longevity of the shoe. I own a few pairs in derbys and oxford style with different styles. Dress them up dress them down made easy. Yesterday I just bought another pair because they are having an anniversary sale, so why not give them a try?

Been buying the same cheap dress shoe for the last 4 years because they fit well and are comfortable. Problem is, they last under a year and the price has gone from 20 to 25 to 30, and this year they wanted 40 for the exact same shoe.

Figure I might as well buy some good shoes for once. The loafers are my least favourite out of the three to be honest. Never been a fan of the tassel on loafers, or beefrolls etc etc. I quite like the 3rd pair, which is arguably closer to flip flops, but they'd be great during summer IMO
