How to look masculine and effay?

>> No.13238589

By not wearing fashion clothing. Masculinity is a timeless concept, try to think about what it entails on a mythical or psychological level and translate these symbolic properties into aesthetic properties. You will find that what's truly masculine does not change and would be considered masculine in any time period.

This is all arbitrary, is dominance not considered masculine in europe? if you're an arab and you dont smoke are you considered masculine even if you're a 5'5" twink?

Aren't those all cultural variations of a few traits, something like stability and competence

Read the post again, i think you got the whole thing backwards

You're right i got the arab thing in reverse but just the same. There's a universal set of traits that make someone masculine no matter where you are.

Lol no. Lazyness has never been considered masculine, except in the american era i.e. today

Most people itt seem to have it right. Masculinity is more about a portrayal of behaviors and traits than anything else. Unfortunately those have to be demonstrated through actions instead of conveyed through demeanor.

You could go for a shallow approach. Grow a beard, shave your head (or maintain a really thick mane), lift, wear tighter clothes to show off muscles. This might work to get people to see you as a chad or something, which is passably manly. But remember that nobody really thinks of a chad as being deeply masculine, rather just a rowdy boy that doesnt really have a handle on things. I guess the thing to take away here is that putting on a facade isnt exactly a sign of maturity, but it will get people to initially think of you a certain way.

Tl;dr just don't behave or carry yourself like a fag in public.
