Is Burberry worth it? or should i just get som Arc'teryx?
I live in Northern Europe so performance is quite important but i also dont want to look like i would start a campfire at any moment.
I've looked at the Arc'teryx Keppel trench and the Burberry Sandringham, and even though all the old bankers talk about how it repels water and repels nicely i doubt it's anything near as good as Gore.

Any other preppy trenches with good performance?

Burberry is past it imo. If you can afford Veilance, they have some nice designs.

I would get Arc'teryx Veilance's Partition LT coat. Burberry trenches are ok with a suit, but mac coats look cleaner and are more versatile. And gore is ofc far superior to cotton gabardine.

No.

Unless you want to look like a British fuckboy, they're not worth it.

Solid advice, thanks guys. Pretty much anything Veilance is cheaper than a Burberry sandringham lol.

I'll probably get a Veilance Partition LT coat or a Arc'teryx Keppel trench coat.
