My question: Hey anons, I’m getting tired of having my hair short and rocking a trendy hairstyle. I want to grow out my hair like bottom right of pic related. Could I pull it off, (That’s my hair in the other pics) and if so, what are some essential hair products to put in my hair as I grow it out? Any insight that is constructive is appreciated. (:

I don't understand, my hair is poofyv asf when it used to be silky smooth (even had girls mirin). Even my dad noticed it and asked what happend to my hair.

I mean I know hair can change as you grow older but it seems too much of a change.
I cut them quite a but it doesn't seem enough. Are they damaged? Do I need to buzz and restart to zero?

For Asian straight hair, this is what I got from the countless chinks/gooks/nips doing that style esp the two pictures on the bottom.
>Blowdry hair while fingering the roots upwards (you're basically blowdrying the roots)
>(*optional) make divisions on your hair using styling clip (if you have bangs you may start to work on that first), you work layer by layer
>use curling iron to do the curls
>wax, but dont smear on the hair. You take ample ampunt, warm it on your hand and scrunch your hair like girls would do when using a curling(?) mousse. You also start to separate some curls that was grouped together by the curling iron using your fingers. You're basically molding the curls properly to where you want it be or look like. (There are some waxes designs to separate curls)
>curling iron again in some areas to set corrections
>hairspray all over
>curling iron again in some areas if you need corrections
It's a hassle if you look at my post, and it seems intimidating as well, but these chinks got so used to doing it, that they can finish in an hour or less.
What blowdry? Idfk
What curling iron? Vodana seems popular in S. Korea
What wax? Forgot the brands
What hairspray? just pick w/e you think is good

I've got an oval face and my semi-long hair is mildly wavy/curly so it approaches afro territory in the wind. 20 minutes after showering the other day it had already sprung back outwards. I've tried tying it back but it sprouts outwards and looks awful. Looks like pic related but without the weight. So, can anyone recommend haircuts? Don't want them to be high maintenance or too short. Just need some ideas so go nuts.

then, just use a comb or brush and shove it in the hair to keep it down, and around half an hour later, chuck in some heavy product (just find your basic non-shine wax or some shit) or hairspray, putting in some light product like pomade or seaspray wont keep it down when it gets windy

You need to start over with short hair. That bump of hair in the front can't be fixed otherwise. Get a basic short sides/long top and use silicone-free conditioner when the curls start growing in.
