I'm trying to find REAL blue jeans. No fake bullshit, no pre-ripped bullshit, no baggy bullshit with 100 pockets and a bunch of loops and shit. It needs to be in the style that was popular in the 80s, tight around the crotch, thigh and knee and either straight or loose around the calf and ankle. I currently have two pairs of Arizonas but they cost like $40 a pair.

I've been dying to find a perfect pair of blue jeans as well OP, the closest thing I ever got was a tailored pair of Japanese denim but even then the rise didn't feel high enough.

It also sucks because I always try to look for jeans without designs on the back pockets but every company insists on putting a stupid tacky design on them.

I wear jeans that fit over my cowboy boots for work. Just get some wranglers from a western wear store for like 20 bucks a pair.

Get yourself a pair of light stonewash high waisted jeans (wrangler should work) and get them tapered. Dream fulfilled.
Also Levis' got a shitty low rise fit. I think wrangler cowboy cut jeans are the only ones with waist high enough that are easy to find.
