So I've been doing a lot of outdoor work in the rain and snow, which resulted in me getting pipe dope on both my winter coat and my rain coat. This stuff is designed to be insoluble in water. I'm pretty sure that acetone would remove it, but probably also destroy the coats. Do any of you guys have experience in removing this stuff?
