This one has the bonus of being able to hike through rain and other muddy areas, but I can't say whether the ankle support is too good, especially considering hes in some mountainous area. The overall aesthetic though is a 9/10 for me

Aha I'm an actual geologist. Literally all my profs wear these fucking vests when doing field work. They look retarded. Going around with a hammer and brunton on your waist tho is effay af.

I know this thread is a joke, but the best part of being a geologist is that I can wear patagonia fleeces, arcteryx, and north face outerwear and not look like a complete fucking tool.
