Buy a size 13 in wide.

>> No.13154984

Size 13 1/2

>> No.13154992

One thing you can do is work out if you are walking flat-footed. A common posture problem is the ankles "tip in" and the feet flatten which makes them wider in the shoe and a more difficult fit.
If this is happening perhaps get some orthotics and start over.
Another thing you could perhaps do is try on some Keen brand boots. Some footwear is made for "high volume" feet and could give a better fit where a wide is too wide.

At least this fellow has some insight.

Yeah, try a different brand! Even within the same brand different models of footwear may be built on a different shape or last.

Maybe the reason your fucking Goldilocks mincing about how one size is too big and the other is too small is that they're the wrong fucking shape to begin with!!! Fuck, do you get the concept that a huge fat ass will never find skinny jeans that fit perfectly no matter how many sizes he tries on. Yeah, stop scratching your fucking head and clue into the fucking fact that boots are a three dimensional object and merely making that shape longer or shorter is not going to compensate for the rest of the overall fit.

Why is it that the same morons that can't figure out the concept of fitment are always buying Mocs boot wedges?

Try on footwear and buy what fits you well. Over time you will learn from experience. Stop trying to look like Bryan Gosling 2014.

Dirty fucking crepe soles!!! Guys, come on!!!

When you have big feet there's no such thing as half sizes - it's really annoying.

>>13154992
It's mainly my toes that are the issue. On a Brannock device I'm technically a 14 B - so I guess I have long, slender ass feet. Thanks for the insight though.

I feel like I'm running out of companies for Moc Toe boots. I've tried Red Wing and Thorogood now.

I suppose there's Danner.

Sorry man, I just think Moc Toe wedge boots look really cool. I'm determined to find a pair which fit me well!

14 but they do fit a wee bit big. Maybe it's just me because I tend to wear thin socks a lot.

Get some custom made. On a budget I would contact Junkard Boots as they do a Moc Wedge and have a specific Last that is narrow. They do custom all the time and are a serious bargain most people don't know about.

Aside from that get your doctor to prescribe orthotics and have your insurance cover part of the purchase?
