Are boots supposed to be worn with the pants "inside" of them? Or should the pants be uppon the boots?

The boots are more visible if the pants are inside, which would make it more "useful" to be wearing boots.

How should I wear them?

Military boots, Mad Max's boots, moccasin boots, work boots: untucked

Untucked is far less formal but not casual, works more as a rugged look

I think it's more conspicuous to wear boots tucked, untucked they could be mistaken for any old leather shoe. I always admire a well put together oufit that uses obvious boots, unless it's gutterpunk or antifa faggotry
