There's something obnoxious about taking something to make you be perceived by others in a certain way when you boast about doing it. Also, Xanax is a trash tier drug that is really good at doing what it does but nothing else.

Seriously though; was addicted for a long while. I had no motivation in life. I was miserable when highs ended. I get progressively more addicted to substances and would alternate highs because I didn't just feel the same. All relationships with women I formed on them were empty and didn't work out. All friend I made using drugs eventually turned on me and took advantage of me to get high or try to make money to get high. I preferred spending my last cents on drugs than on food; if my father didn't own a restaurant I'd probably starve to death. if you take benzos with tagamet HB or golden grapefruit juice you get a much more potent effect in some folks. It's enough that hospitals don't serve grapefruit juice in big swaths of America. When I was still taking em, I'd switch out to a slightly lower dose equivalent in ativan and lay off xanax for a month or two, come whatever anxiety may.
When you flip back to xanax it's gonna work a lot better once again.
