The fact that so many fashion houses are open about taking cues from 1930s Germany says a lot, they pioneered aesthetic camouflage still used today, had space age technology and a genuine neoclassical lazarus event of culture, economics, national pride etc, installing and funding nationalist forces in every country they occupied
