When will companies start to realize that low rise pants are awkward looking and start making high rise pants again? Let’s spread awareness. I’m so jelly only chicks get to have them.

I've been on the highwaisted-pill for about a year now. Didn't know what was missing from my fits up until I tried higher waisted pants. Agree that on 8/10 men low rise looks really awkward, especially for suit pants and trousers. Worst thing is even reputable retailers like ralph lauren and brooks brothers are too afraid to sell higher waisted pants. Go thrifting my guy, 4 months ago I had only one pair of high waisted pants and now I have 6 that cost me about 50 dollars, alterations included.

i only wear high waisted pants. every time i've tried jeans with low or even regular waist they have just felt so much worse, and they don't really go with anything i wear.

There’s different types of rise, my man. There’s low rise, low crotch, mid rise, and high rise. Low crotch and high rise always gets mixed up. Low crotch sits on the hips like low rise, but it gives that extra space for your genitalia. High rise sit above the hips and rests on the belly button.

well whatever works, as long as it's not specifically catered to 90s or 80s stuff. Most of the pants old people give to thrift shops are from a different era so most of the time they are high waisted.

A while back, peeps. There was a company made by Josey Orr. He started it on Kickstarter¿ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2117909685/dyer-and-jenkins-american-made-mens-basics-f-w-201
Sadly, they went out of business. They used to sell a raw denim high rise jean. I’m so lucky I got to buy a pair and I even bought a tee from them. All of their stuff was made in the USA with American material. Hopefully someday someone else will start selling them.
They had a several fits.

that's a regular rise and they are still a lot of manufacturers who sell these. In my experience a pair can be called high rise only when it sits completely straight in the waist like >>13091105 pic.

>>13091188
>>13091105 is more like super high rise. this is mostly based on what they market these today, regualar rise is lower than the high rise you see in most of these photos, or you might be a turbomanlet...

Nah, that’s a high rise(the jeans on the left). The model doesn’t have them all the way up. I have same pair like I said. They stop at my belly button. The front rise measurements are 12 1/2. The jeans on the right are regular rise.

bought these skinnies from women's section of H&M, size 32.
Should I crop them or just leave as it is?
I know it can not be seen, but the jeans sit slightly above the ankle.

Thanks.
