I have an undercut because I have thin, receding, blonde hair and I've been tortured by /fa/ into hating myself because of it. I don't want to buzz quite yet because still no one in real life has said a word about it and I receive compliments on my hair every once and a while even though I'm dying inside. I'm 24, which I feel is older than most of /fa/, but I'm just going to ride it out and let it age naturally.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Out of curiosity, how receding is your hairline? If it's just a little bit, you could still sport hair longer on the sides and back, which is what I do. Often, a little recession is just an indicator of what is often considered to be a "mature hairline." I have a hairline very similar to pic-related.
