You’re probably not into cars so you don’t know the difference between single clutch & dual clutch transmissions but it means these cars are worlds apart. Basically, the gear changes on the aventador are very “dramatic” and make the car uncomfortable to drive at regular speeds. It constantly throws you back and forth every time the car changes Gear and ultimately make the car slower. With a dual clutch transmission the gear changes happen so fast you barely even feel them.

I'm in math, so I don't work in a lab, just with my advisor. It's relatively lax for a PhD imo, I could probably get away with staying home all the time. We prove useless theorems for a living. I dunno how we get away with it lmao

Some friends of mine are doing PhDs (in other fields) where they have to work in a lab tho, so I know the grind.

Well... many factors come into play. I'm a non-white ghetto trash kid doing a PhD in a very small institute at my university. When I applied to the professor, she didn't ask for my chosen topic, she didn't say anything related to the actual process, but the very first thing she said to me was that she can't give me a job at the institute. I told her it's fine, and I also told her right away that I don't need a stipend either. I have always worked through life myself, and I will continue to do so. I take baby steps, but that's okay.

Depends on how much/hard I feel like working.
Tours are around $2k/week, with all housing, flights, transport, food, coffee, alcohol, etc paid for.

Artist fly dates and corporate are around 800-$1k a day, but those are only like 3 days a month for me at the moment.

Venue pays $250 a day (~12pm-12am) whether I'm mixing or just tech support for a band's crew, plus dinner and coffee.

I guess like $50-60k a year? No benefits and weird hours, but it doesn't feel like work and I can wear whatever I want.

Cool man that's crazy, enjoy HYS.

I also have an interest in intellectual property law actually. Well Constitutional is my favorite, but obviously that's not practical. I wanted to go to law school just based on "muh interest" but couldn't do better than 162 on practice tests so so much for that. Studying for the LSAT was still a worthwhile experience that made me better at thinking. It's crazy how many duplicitious satements and shitwe are bombarded with in ads and media.

I also took a formal symbolic logic class in college that was really interesting but I had to work pretty hard to get an AB.

I love autismo shit desu just not quite brainy enough to pursue it. Oh well. lol
