i dont see why these types of sneakers get labelled as 'ugly' just because they deviate from the silhouette/design of an average sneaker, they're just something new and interesting. if you dont like the whole trend thats fine, personally i think they look pretty nice. i think it's interesting that a sneaker that really only accommodates very wide trousers to remain in proportion has become so popular.

I think the older you are, the harder these are to understand. Outside of jogging, the only people who wore these were old people whose feet hurt and stopped caring. They were the "I don't even slightly fashion" shoes. It's hard to shake that association. Roshes or the NBs posted itt don't compare.

I’d have no problem wearing these to the gym because who the fuck cares what you look like, but I guess you’re talking about actually walking around or going out at night in them. For that I think they look shit. The multiple color areas and, more specifically, the silver fuck it all up. Silver looks like ass in general. Combine with the fact they draw too much unwanted attention because of the complex color scheme (small blocks of colors), and they just don’t look good to me.

I basically look for the opposite of that color scheme in shoes I buy: no more than two main colors and no shiny shit like silver or gold.
