I'vr managed to find my size in womens pants and I tend to just get those from goodwill
But there has to be some place that has high waisted for men without going for the shitty dad-core look

Dickies still work for that. I recommend the slim tapers. They fit slim with an incredibly slight taper from the knee. I get the ones with the cellphone pocket on the side of the right leg. You'll be rolling around like an epileptic in no time.
