u can always find used clothes for cheap

styleforum / ebay / thrift stores / etc.

suitsupply suits can be had for $120ish for almost mint condition

get them tailored for another $50-60 or so then you're good

jomers suits are the same quality/fabric as suitsupply for $250 MSRP but are almost always out of stock

hermes will always be expensive

it's one of the tippy top of designer brands and retains good resale value more than any other in general

if you really like hermes ties for their design, then look at salvatore ferragamo which also employs playful patterns and are generally cheaper for the same quality

if you're looking for absolute quality in ties, hermes is NOT the choice
