It's worth mentioning that the cringier the better. Children have pretty bad taste in everything anyway. I wore a fedora and simpsons t-shirts in middle school almost every day.

No lie, Sonic's sneaker game has always been on point. I was IN LOVE with shadows shoe design though as a kid.

my childhood was a minor form of fucked up

not in the sense that it was outright or obviously WHOA DUDE WTF but in the sense that things fell into order in a way that made me worthless

my dad was basically a nuanced form of /pol/tard who was heavily into books, sports and general conservative lifestyle. pic related is the sort of stuff he gave me to read and look over, visual children's books about history and things that my dad approved of. we didn't have television in the house and internet didn't come along until he was advised by a friend of his that it could aid in my education. we never went to church, but whenever we went out in public he did his best to dress us up nicely

when i was a kid my dad dressed me up in what he said 'should have been the school uniform' since i was put into a public school. there was no school uniform, but i have pics of my first day and stuff that looked similar to how the japs do their stuff for school kids. he told me every so often that what i was wearing was much better than what they wore, and in the end i agreed with him since he explained stuff about 'why'.

by the time i was old enough to get into highschool my dad was able to afford the yearly tuition fee to get me into the local private academy. everyone wore a uniform there so my sense of public fashion developed in the same line as when i was a small child. outside of school i never left without nice pants and leather shoes and belt. sports had me wearing the proper attire

nowadays i participate in a political party, so wearing a suit is something im obligated to do. i never understood streetwear, it just looks faggy to me
