>Being too lazy to get my pants tailored at uniqlo led to me learning that sizing up in length gives my skinny jeans an amazing crinkle

If only I wasn't like a decade late to this.

if your t shirt is too long, tuck it and slowly pull it up until it's the correct length. then just drape it over.

should be common knowledge but i don't see people do it really, really helps your proportions

If you're at a thrift store and they don't label pants for length (only waist), then find a pair that's the correct length and use it as a ruler for the other ones hanging up

Really? I just roll up with basketball shorts and try the pants on right there on the spot. I'm already buying used clothes so kinda dumb to be ashamed

i encountered the same problem when i bought my first pair of good jeans that were too baggy, took them to a tailor and told him to slim them from the knees down.

there should be just the right amount of room for your calves, like a slim fit not skinny, and have your tailor make it so it becomes narrower towards the opening for your leg to go through.

Does this actually look ok though? I've got a lot of tees that I never wear because they are too long.

depends on the cut of your t-shirts, with anything the closer it is to your size it should look fine. so if the problem is only lengthwise it shouldn't be a problem, but if the torso area of your t-shirts are too big it might look drapey.

I learned that in CS grad program you can just wear the same corduroys and cardigan every day, just changing your undergarments
