Just ordered a bottle of Bergamust from Gallagher. I gotta say, I've tried a bunch of those little "indy" niche houses you find online, and I'm always disappointed. Their frags always wind up smelling like some amateur just ordered a bunch of notes online and clumsily mixed them together into some semblance of a theme.

Gallagher, though, his stuff smells legitimately high quality. Well composed, well blended. I'm particularly impressed with their performance. I own Amongst Waves and sampled Bergamust before, both are aquatics, traditionally not the longest lasting scents. Both last like 24-36 hours on my skin, and projection is huge. 2 sprays'll last you all day and you'll still be getting whiffs tomorrow.

Definitely check his stuff out, it's great value for the quality of scents he's making.

Not that outdated, but, outside of the tips at the bottom, it's completely fucking wrong. The pic that gets posted under the OP would be better at pointing you in a general direction.

As for a recommendation, you didn't give us much to work with, you might like woody, citrus or aquatic scents, or even scents from the same family as 1 million, but with a different sweet note.

To put it down, it would help us if you'd say how do you want to smell and what smells you like, what occasion/environment you need the fragrance for (school/work/dates/clubbing), how you dress and what message you want to project to people around you. Even better, you could go to a local store that sells fragrances and test a few, note down which ones you liked and disliked, then look up online what their dominant notes are so that you can get a clearer picture of your tastes.

Lastly for that bottle of 1 million you have, you could always sell it.

Sauvage is a top tier option, but has gotten hugely popular, and smells better to others than yourself, so a lot of people here have mixed feelings on it.

But 1 Million is normie Jersey Shore tier. It gets a lot of hate even outside of /fa/.
It had its hayday, but unless you're purposely going for the bubblegum scent, only reason to wear it is as a frat bro at the club.
But even then Eros Versace for men is a better club option.

There are a lot of complaints about longevity with CDNIM. However, I suspect those are mostly due to olfactory fatigue from excessive sprays to the neck.

So my dad recently purchased a bottle of CH Men Privé from the Heinemann duty free shop in Frankfurt Airport (pic related).

Heinemann's is a big and generally well-reputed store selling all sorts of other genuine products, so I wouldn't tend to suspect them of selling fakes.

But the box my dad bought only says "Privé" on the front, instead of "CH Men Privé" like all images I've ever seen of the frag show. Also, the front has a gold square with black letters, instead of a black square with gold letters. The subtext showing the volume and stuff also should be gold, from what I've seen online.

Does anyone know if CH recently changed their presentation, or if the boxes are different in the European market, or did my pop get swindled?

Zoologist Bat is unisex and is very earthy. Probably does smell like something Hermione would wear, actually. It's a very good, high-quality fragrance, but it's not terribly wearable, though. I wear D&G Pour Homme nearly daily. I love this scent, personally. It's not a sharp citrus like a lot of summer scents, but it's still light despite the tobacco notes, and remains versatile even in the autumn. If you've never worn it, highly recommend it.

I took some feedback a few days ago and decided to get some samples before buying the real deal but I could still use some opinions

This is the current list of samples I wanna try. I go out in mainly two situations: working at a lab and in afternoons (where it's mostly sunny and hot since it's summer here in the southern hemisphere)

Thierry Mugler seems to be the most recommended for the latter, while for the former it's either Gucci Pour Homme II or Hanae Mori Him, both unavailable on the current website I'm using for samples

I don't really care about being generic or not standing out too much, I would rather play it safe for my first buy. I would also like to stay on the lower end of pricing as the conversion rates are murdering my third world country right now. Anything I should add or remove from this list?

You will smell clean in a unique way, not like the aquatics, and its very good for winter office wear because it performs. The fags at creed even copiet it and sels it for 10X the price

Maybe, if you don't like it I don't imagine it would be very hard to resell. But I don't think it's worth the money. It's a very meh smell, like a non-offensive pencil-shavings smell. There are other fragrances that use ISO E super well but have much more going on, like Dior Homme.

Yes . I love the smell, and is a beast of a perfume. Girls have also said they really liked the smell as well. I don't really care about internet opinions ( "You will smell like a fat arab" "Too cloying" "offensive smell" "Middle Eastern rentboy") as IRL application works for me.

I just received my Atelier cologne samples, I like their style and so far their frags seem nice, what are you talking about they're trash? Maybe you need a french nose to appreciate them. One of the sample has no name on it though, wonder what it is I unpacked them all without looking

I also received Armaf CDNI, I'm not sure if thats how Aventus smells but this is bugspray. My mother liked it though somehow.
