They're a bit....boxy. Neither practical enough for day to day wear and not smart enough for a smart/casual gettup.

If i were you, i'd look for an ankle boot thats a bit sharper looking. I have a set of black brogued ankle boots with only a small set of detail and they're smart enough to dress up, but also look good with a set of jeans.

i really like them, but that is as someone who hates black shoes. i think black brogue and oxfords look fuck awful, black makes everything look samey and makes texture hard to see.

pic related are the brown shoes i wear, can't find anything in black that is as nice
