This. Brands like Rick and Yohji are a lifestyle. You can't just buy a jacket and wear it over your baggy jeans and videogame tshirt a few days a week, or likewise the sneakers.

And even then, the look only works for a particular demographic, in a particular location, with a particular social circle.
