A good tip is to start a tattoo inspo folder, browse this thread every time a new one pops up and save anything you think is interesting, keep note of where the tattoo originates from and you'll develop a library of sources ie: classic woodblock prints, illustrators, album covers etc.

I find it strange how the tastes of /fa/ has changed EXCEPT for tattoos
For some reason /fa/ only seems like like and think highly of "tarot card" tattoos and geometric
Sometimes if I'm LUCKY I MAY see an American traditional tattoo or something that looks similar to it but only black and grey or only an outline

I never see full on American traditional stuff like sailor jerry/tatts thomas/cap coleman/ Smith street tattoo/ etc.
Or Japanese traditional like horiyoshi iii/Rico daruma/horihana/Ivan Szazi/ horihide/ etc
Also pretty surprised that /fa/ggles like ed sheerans crayola vomit sleeve with no outline or anything to hold it together and will mush together in literally a couple yrs

It's a shame..
