I would go with a light or middle tone tortoiseshell or deep brown.

IMO frames look best when they're darker/more colorful than your skin but feature a color (or colors) lighter than your eyes. Dark eyes means you can push how dark your frames go (black is universal...universally boring, that is) so going with a darker tortoiseshell with more subtle flecks of the lighter amber color is a safe bet.

Matte colors are shitty remnants of the early to mid 2000s, so avoid them. I don't like the woodgrain-style but in some colors it can work, usually tacky though. If you want some metal framing, silver is usually best but if you can find something you like with copper or brass, that's fine too considering your skin/eye color. Don't get anything that makes you look like an engineer or pedophile,

Thoughts on these? I have bright green eyes and red tends to look good on me in general.
Are they TOO effeminate? Alternativly I could go with grey but a lot of my clothes are navy colored and I tjought these would offer good contrast.

Does anyone else have a problem with glasses sliding down their nose? I have oily skin so I keep having to wipe the oil from the bridge of my nose and the nosepads of my glasses. I have pic related. Would bending the arms more help?

Yes, have the oliver. The frame seems good so far, very well polished. The lenses seem to pick up particles and smudge easily though, so I clean them more often than my past glasses. I would say they're a solid 4/5 in terms of quality though, just wish the lenses didn't require as much cleaning

I have the same problem. Bending the arms may help but it won't do anything unless they are bent directly behind your ears. Get some Keepons, they work very well and I don't think they are noticeable at all, since they fit right behind your ears.

Just copped these Giorgio Armani AR7037 (53mm) frames. Pretty whitebread look but I got them since they're way smaller than my current frames which I think are too wide and make me look like a fag.

I'm looking for sunglasses, I have an oval face with super pale skin and blonde/brown hair.

Currently, the only sunglasses I've found that I like are aviator style like pic related, but I don't like the side frame part on them and aviators might look a tad big on me, not sure.

Recommendations on sunglasses? I should add I usually wear grey/black color.

How do you pick what sunglasses colors will look good on you? I read somewhere that people with blond hair and light skin need to avoid light color sunglasses and get darker colored ones as well? Is this true?

Can someone with blond hair and light skin wear sunglasses that are mostly white but fade into blue towards the bottom of the frame around the lenses? I have light color eyes as well.

I have the same prescription as you, I'm having a problem though: I love glasses and have been contact-less for five years now, I don't miss the hassle of taking them in/out and I am terrified by the health risks associated with them...

However I recently realized that having glasses at my prescription is making my eyes/head look tiny, especially face-on and at certain angles. I feel very awkward about it. I'm almost driven to go back to contacts and just wearing fake frames (though for the reasons stated before, I really don't want to go back to contacts).

I am at the 1.67 whatsit high index, if I go with the (really expensive) material option (I forget what it is called), will this minimize the effect due to thinner lenses, or will the effect still be present just by way of prescription and how it bends the light around the shape?

did some digging and found they were from hihun.uk, but the rest of the selection are cheap knock offs of "iconic" glasses so I'm pretty sure this model comes from an actual company.

I tried those on a few weeks back, ended up getting the RB3447V instead. Did you at least try them on before buying? To be honest, the oval shape, plus the gold finish looks really fucking weird. Maybe it's because I have a huge face/head but they seemed really small, unlike most Ray-ban frames. Gold frames look sick but wearing them everyday seemed super impractical for me.
