I hope everyone in this thread is aware of adaptive homeostatis aka metabolic adaption. Do NOT rush weight loss, because you're not going to stick to this diet forever. When you start eating normally again, you will gain back the weight. Your metabolism will be slow for as long as you kept eating too little.

So if you for example have eaten only 800 kcal for 1 month, and you start eating normal amounts of calories again, then you will gain weight for about as long as you ate too little (about 3 weeks, considering it takes a short while for the metabolism to adapt).

This is totally reversible. It's not really a DAMAGE and it's not permanent, but it can stall your process of becomming thin, in a very frustrating way.

If you want a healthy and successful weight loss, cut 500 calories out of daily recommended intake (TDEE). Use a TDEE calculator online to figure out your expenditure.

Sure. You really have two places your body can gather energy: food or stored fat. But you can't access them at the same time. I'd recommend trying some longer fasts if trying to lose weight (OMAD or 18:4 if you want a bit bigger spread), but 16:8 or even 15:9 is certainly helpful. Keep in mind it takes a few weeks before you really get used to it. For me I spent a few months doing OMAD, then I went back to 16:8 for maintenance. But I don't get too caught up about if it is 15:9 or 17:7 or whatever.

You do have muscle, even if it is too little and not visible. Also in the fasted state it has been shown that you really don't burn more muscle than you would otherwise at a caloric deficit. At lower weights I feel incredibly tired and I'm freezing cold. In the summer the fatigue is so bad I can sleep for days. Sitting also hurts the butt bones. I also get dizzy/blind every time I stand up (I forgot the technical term for this, it's due to the sudden shift in blood pressure).

Sometimes I can get these symptoms at higher weights if my nutrition is sub-par. Lately I've been having horrible fatigue. I stopped taking a daily multivitamin last month because I started Accutane (Can't have too much Vit. A with it) so I think that might be why. I've had trouble seeping though so maybe I'm just sleep deprived.

Sleep problem is more likely just poor sleep hygiene. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day if you can. If you miss your bed time, get up at your usual time anyways, then the next night get to by on time. Helps me a lot.

Nah, my sleep problems are due to nightmares/anxiety so my sleep is light. There's also construction right outside my window & the sun rises very early so I get up around 7:00-7:30. This is a good wake-up time for most people, but I found that I only feel rested if I sleep from 2AM until 10AM. Otherwise I require at least 10 hours of sleep and I'm not satisfied with 8h. If I go to bed at 10pm or 11pm I would have to wake up at 9am to be well-rested. Nice measurements. You probably look good in a bikini. There aren't any exercises for making boobs bigger, and ass is debatable depending on what you consider a success but focus on squats, including sumo squats. A tight but is more attainable through exercises and diet, than a curvy one, which is more dependent on how your body distributes fat, I would say.

I don't like 5:2. I've done all kinds of fasting and the first two or three days are the hardest, so it makes no sense to do that every week. Instead I would consider doing something more like eat three weeks, fast one week.

But what I'd really recommend is just OMAD, 23:1. The hunger in the morning is gone by the second week, if you ever really have any, and it's hard to even get 1500 calories down in one sitting. Fasting is great for dramatic changes and occasional touchups, it also has some health benefits beyond just weight loss, but for someone who wants to be /thinspo/ for life OMAD is a great tool.

Once you reach your goal weight, then do 16:8 IF so you can reach your TDEE and be more normal socially (have lunch with friends)

and yeah, the fact that my periods stopped is due to both low bmi and the fact that i stopped birth control. even someone with a normal bmi can go a year without a period after stopping birth control because how wonky the hormones are after.
i want to go back on birth control to calm my mother down because she's freaked out by the fact that i don't have a period, plus just added safety about sex. you can't get pregnant if you're not ovulating but it's possible that i could be ovulating right now and be due to menstruate next week, so if i had sex and that were the case i could get pregnant. even a small chance seems like too much to not worry about to me

Thanks for answering my questions. I somehow didn't develop the bitter angry traits, despite being a regular on r9k since the beginning. I don't blame my shortcomings on other people and my struggles have made me more empathetic of other peoples. I'll keep trying to find a gf, hopefully she'll be okay with my inexperience. Yeah I use the DivaCup which is supposed to hold a cycle's worth of blood but I change it 3-4 times a day on my first few days.

Once I was bleeding so much that the cup was overflowing within an hour & I was bleeding through a backup pad too. I had to stay home because there was sooooo much blood. That was an unusual cycle though.

i feel your pain anon, i was at a friends house once and i was sitting on her bed and when i got up and looked down there was a huge blood stain on her comforter... i freaked out and went to the bathroom and blood was running down my leg and had soaked through so badly, it was a nightmare

now i don't get my period anymore lol
