This is specifically tech ninja, not urban techwear as whole. In fact, you can have any aesthetic you want in urban techwear. The whole point of it is wearing clothes with technical materials and/or increased practicality. Tech ninja is the go-to aesthetic because it's the easiest. Most designers do the tech ninja stuff. Techwear doesn't even have to be crazy. My summer techwear is waterproof shoes, track pants/compression pants, and a long drapey top. If you wanna dress prep, which is in my opinion the most boring shit ever, then go ahead but at least know your shit before you talk shit
