for pants, you will definitely have better luck the mall. with the slightest effort, at basically any mall, you'll find a well fitting pair of black pants. i thrifted my current favorite pair of pants, but generally all you really find at thrift stores is 36 waist wranglers.

you will also almost never find a desirable pair of shoes at a thrift store. they are usually just too gross.

t shirts, you can either buy at h&m for 8 dollars, or you can buy an h&m tshirt at a thrift for 5 dollars.

i thrift a lot and the only good things i find with any regularity are mid layers like overshirts, crew neck sweats, vests, or quarterzips.
