Keep thinking that having muscular arms is something to be ashamed of. Literally nobody in real life finds someone who is lean, and mildly muscular as unattractive as a result of their weight.
The reality is that you must eat healthy and abstain from harmful behaviors, such as smoking and drinking, to put on muscle. To be skinny, you just need to be malnourished. You can have a drug and alcohol issue while being skinny. Try doing deadlifts after you starved yourself and came down from a bender.

Start by not eating things you know you can just go to town on and endlessly devour (for me, pasta would be prime examples of this), not for several days anyway. after taking effexor, my weight was 105-110 lbs and shot up to 120. i quit it over a month ago and still can't lose any weight. i used to have a super metabolism, and could shed 5 lbs in a weekend if i exercised and didn't eat a whole lot. i've been exercising for about a week and eating significantly less for two weeks. my weight has remained absolutely the same. at the beginning, i weighed myself and came in at exactly 123 lbs. weighed myself yesterday at 121.3 lbs and this morning at 121.8 lbs. i keep bouncing between the 121-122 range. i'm not gaining weight, but i can't for the live of me get rid of this 10-15 pounds.

what do?

i drink coffee for breakfast/lunch and have a light or sometimes heavy dinner it alternates. my daily exercise is a 5 mile fast walk.

how can i increase my metabolism or what am i doing wrong that's making me not shed any weight? i would like to be 105 lbs by June 9th and at this rate i don't think that's feasible

ok so i eat about 700cal a day and i work out 3-4 times a week. this week alone i've lost about 7 pounds and i really have no idea why. i tend not to eat very healthily but i do drink a lot of water and it suppresses my appetite quite a bit most of the time. i don't think that's why i'm losing weight so quickly but if anybody knows or can guess why it would be appreciated a lot
