Hey guys!

I have a brand that produces different leather products like wallets, credit card holder, etc. Now i would like to produce a high quality leather tobacco pouch for our costumer. But as I'm not smoking or rolling cigarettes I don't know what's important and on which details we should put extra effort.

What size is the best?
How many pockets should it have? Size of the pockets? Where are the best places for papers, tobacco, filters, etc?
Should it have an outside pocket as well?
Do we have to know something about the tobacco pocket itself so the tobacco remains fresh?
How should it be closed? With magnets, a leather band or a snap?
...

Many questions for non smokers haha. I'm hoping that you, the 4chan community, could help us a little bit and tell us your experience with tobacco pouches you've had already. What was positiv on them, what was negative?

Thanks a lot for your help guys

I wish I could help you on this one. I have a couple of friends who only smoke rollies and I'm sure they would have some ideas.

A little tool to pack down the tobacco is useful. My buddies tend to buy picrelated brand lighters so they can use the flint to pack the tobacco and filter in before twisting.

You could do a nice "tamp" made of chromed steel on a little chain so it can't be lost

What kind of leather do you use, boss?

And most definitely use a snap/stud system. Rattails and magnets aren't cool.

I don't smoke at all, so I don't know which kind of tobacco the people use.

Haven't thought about stud yet, great point
