I don't know how to reciprocate affection because the fear of humiliation and rejection has been a very prominent part of my psyche since I was young and I'm terrified that the person wasn't into me and just being nice.
I get unreasonably angry and died with anger towards others and myself when I get the smallest rejection like not getting a text back.
I've held long standing grudges that have ruined freindships I've had since middle school for not getting a text back
I hate people and I hate myself and I see myself commiting suicide in my late 30s to early 40s

You shouldn't be too preoccupied with how she feels about you - a girl doesn't have to be head over heels in love with you just so you could ask her out or hook up or anything of that sort.

You think she's cute, she seems to think you're alright if she's talking to you and complimenting you - go have lunch together, if it goes well go do something after work.
