Gospeed anon I did the same thing yesterday. Try to keep it around 1200 so you still lose. Eat small portions, say you're full, and drink plenty water. Then eat less the next day and get back on track. You'll be fine.

I ate the last of my Valentine's candy today. It was Ghiardelli 60% dark chocolate squares. I limited myself to one or two a day since they were 50 calories each. But I love me some dark chocolate, and it didn't hurt me too much. Mostly just happy I never binged on it.

How do you deal with constipation /thinspo/? I've been doing 16:8 IF with eating window from 1 to 8 for a month and I've been feeling really well but then I got severely constipated and all natural remedies are recommended for morning consumption. I've tried eating lots of prunes, warm water with lemon, no dairy, even cut out on coffee but no luck. My lifestyle is sedentary unfortunately.

You could think about increasing your calories, eating more fiber, or taking a fiber supplement.
I find doing yoga or even just pacing around my house helps. Especially if you follow it with a cup of strong black coffee (which you can have while fasting).

theyre tubing me because at the stage I am at BMI wise (13.8 atm), increasing my diet via food is tricky because it has to be done in a timed manner to avoid refeeding syndrome but also needs to be done quite fast to avoid my weight dropping any lower. so if i get tubed they can accurately monitor all the nutrients i'm getting and make sure that my system takes it well which isn't as easy to do with solid food. it's not a weight gain tube, just a refeeding one.

You know exercising lightly won't make you look "muscly," right? It takes girls a way fucking long time to put on muscle. And since you're on a deficit, if you exercised you wouldn't even be gaining muscle, you'd just be maintaining some of the muscle you did have already.

Am I really the only IFer who can just drink water and not be hungry at all between meals. I don't know what it is because I started OMAD and LCHF at the same time, but one of these keeps me satiated AF. and I think it's the fat because today I had practically only meat (chicken drumsticks, red pepper sausage, calf liver) and I'm more tired than usually and actually just lowkey hungry despite eating the same calories.

So moral of the story is if you struggle with hunger, eat more fat, eat more fat, eat more fat. Just be sure to measure/weigh to know what you're putting in your body.

So they tell you it’s uncomfortable and to be honest that is a giant understatement. It goes in, and then around a corner in your nose, which hurts like you’ve just sucked up a ton of fizzy drink accidentally into your nostrils. don’t think that feeling will pass once it’s inserted. You will feel that for the entirety of the time that the tube is up your nose.

They tell you that is the worst bit. In my opinion that is bullshit. It gets a bit easier, though still painful enough to have you scrunch your face up with slightly-more-than-discomfort. up until it passes through your throat, where it then triggers your gag reflex and you feel like throwing up. they will hold you, instruct you to push your chin to your chest to help it ease through and continue to thread it. you will likely cough, splutter, and saliva will fill up in the back of your throat. I had to have a spit bucket, which made me cry, partially due to pain and partially due to the embarrassment of dribbling all over the gastroenterologist. As they continue to pass it through you’ll be stuck wanting to both throw up and swallow, because it feels like there is a chunk of food stuck in your throat. This feeling also will not pass, and will remain with you for the entirety of the tubing. Once it passes through, they will tell you it’s over, and you’ll likely feel sore and still constantly swallowing/dribbling for a bit. I only had a very small tube as well: they also had another available which was 4mm thicker which they tend to use more often in the hospital I am in, and are apparently much more painful.
