Posture is a complicated bitch. I doubt that the extent of your bad posture is contained to your your back. The body works in chains, and chains tend to work from the ground up. You probably have bad ankle mobility, hip mobility, and lumbar hyperextension. Yoga can help with the ankles and hips. You need core strength for the lumbar and back strength for the upper back. You won't get strong from yoga. Pullups and planks would work if you don't have access to weights. Also, you shouldn't expect much strength progress on a massive caloric deficit.

>>12131169
Thank you. I've been reading about that, although I can't say I've figured out exactly what to do yet. I've started stretching my hamstrings and piriformis twice daily. I've started working out my back with some dumbells at home to try to strengthen it. I'm watching my posture and stretching my chest, doing back bends, etc. I still hurt though. I realize it likely takes time.

My caloric deficit is slight since I'm basically at my goal weight. I'm only eating like 250 under which allows for oddball binge and normal days.

Dumbbell rows are one of my favorite lifts. They are mad beneficial for fixing your problem.

You may consider adding downward dog. It's a key yoga pose and a genuinely great stretch. You can go from this pose to doing push-ups, and I think it would help you to add this to what you've been doing. It will stretch your calves and hamstrings and the push-ups will get the blood flowing and work the muscles opposite the rows. Even if you're imbalanced you don't want to go whole hog the other way.

The focus for posture is basically building a foundation at the hips and balancing everything above that. It does take time.

It would depend on your bed and pillow. If you have an old (sagging) bed and/or a big pillow that wouldn't be ideal. You could always not use the pillow if your bed is really concave. You are sleeping, so you will be very relaxed, it's not resistance training. The muscles in your your back being slightly extended isn't bad either, since those are weaker and need the rest.

You've probably been trying to correct your head position with muscles in your upper back that you don't really have, and while the rest of your body is misaligned. Posture works from the ground up, so to fix your upper back you have to fix everything below it, too.

I understand being upset about breaking a fast, but just think about it this way, you broke it by eating some healthy food and didn't binge, you would have to break the fast at some point so it's better to break it with veggies and fruit instead of greasy fried foods or something.

Heck, you may as well go make yourself a salad or soup or stir fry. It'll help replenish some nutrients for your body. Drink some water too!

Oh, I don't mean to say it's NOT enjoyable for men, it's just a) more varied for women objectively since women have more garments to choose from (dresses, skirts) and b) it's largely considered a feminine interest so women face less social "repercussions" for being interested in fashion.

But like I said, it's almost like the bar is lower for guys since so many guys I see barely try at all, so even just getting clothes that fit properly and aren't stained and not living in band T-shirts make you a "fashionable" guy.

I'd agree the bar is set pretty low for men. As far as social repercussions, I'd say for sure when men are younger. In a professional atmosphere though, provided the style is appropriate, I've found it to get mostly a positive response. It's harder when men are younger and mixed in with the people who are going to become slobs as adults, giving someone shit for trying to dress nicely which is basically essential if you want to conduct business as an adult. I mean even before I made an effort with fashion, I dressed in shirts that fit and clean clothing simply because it made sense for work.

Food is for sustenance, you shouldn't just be eating because you're bored and it tastes good, you should be eating food for fuel. And I promise there are healthy foods that ARE tasty, it just takes actual work to cook them.

because people are retarded and say stupid shit? because the diet industry is so fucked on it's head people think granola and orange juice is healthy? because fatties actually believe "starvation mode" is real if they ever eat less than 1500 calories per day?

just find what works best for you. if eating once a day is what you need to keep calories down, so it.

i personally eat 5-6 times per day, and it's mostly snacks like a handful of tomatoes or some deviled eggs.

People thought that the thermal effect of food would be multiplied by the times you eat,but it's actually affected by the calories you eat

They thought that eating 6 times a day is basically TEFx6 and that eating once is TEFx1

Pretty retarded

Many phenethylamines will help you in your quest. I'd recommend the -amphetamine and -cathinone subsets.

I stay 140 lbs at 27 y.o. due to type-1 diabetes and many many amphetamines.

what a lie. and some of "thigh gap" is achieved by stance. you know, jut your butt out and stand up straight and tall.
"hips not wide enough" dude, you'd have to have a deformed level of narrow hips to not be able to achieve a gap. what you say makes no sense. femurs are generally the same size in adults, no matter the height. and that is what makes a gap. less fat, less muscle around the bone.
troll harder.

I'll upgrade his calories intake to 1500 and 1850 when he has to be active but man do I feel bad..
Please be careful if someone asks you for it, their needs and ours are different ;_;
I need some advices though, what should I feed him that makes up 1500 calories? I made a meal plan of 1 orange/some black chocolate/beef/potatoes and that's barely 650.

I have relapsed in weight once. It was due to antidepressants, I lost enough weight in the first two months to where I was visibly thin (from both the chemical side-effects and eventually learning that the antidepressants I were on made me more mentally unwell and physically thinner) and before the medication I was skinny-fat and very average because I was young and had an average physique. After coming off the medication after four months I began to put weight back on; the medication simply made it so I didn't feel like eating, so I still ate when I wanted but it was unavoidably less. Now I've put weight back on, and although I don't mind being skinny, I am back to being skinny-fat and average. Relapsing is nothing to worry about as long as you get on top of your concerns.

Just for the record, recomps take so long you may as well bulk and cut.

I exercise to quicken along losing fat and maybe maintain some muscle, but NOT to gain muscle and lose fat. You have to eat more to gain muscle, so it directly contradicts with losing fat (ie eating less).

It's not worth it to buy a whole nice wardrobe for every size change but I've gone down like 4 sizes since I used to be obese (2XL to M currently) and even then I might be a small by the time I'm done. But I still buy new cheap clothes because fuck looking like everything I own is falling off of me.

The only suggestion I can give is to toast your curry powder, i.e. add it to the pan w/ oil sans liquid (w/ veggies is ok) to give it a smokier flavor which is what pretty much every culture does for their curry.
