there's really only one way

and it's to be out there on your own terms. live on your own. completely pay for your own life. don't accept help from family. work for everything you have.

it is only then, once you not only have the realization but also the full consequences that everything depends on what you actively choose to do, that you will develop the discipline to make difficult choices that are in your own self-interest in the long term.

either that or you will fail miserably, but at least you will have tried.

It's a certain feeling, being ugly and wanting to wear nice shit.

You can be ugly and fashionable or ugly and dress like shit. But I honestly sometimes don't feel 'worthy" of most the clothes I desire to wear, so l limit myself. And no amount of "b urself" shit makes me feel any less gross and horrid.
