hah those are my boots. In general it seems to be helpful to size down on boots for half a size. My size 280cm surp GATs fit very snug, and these 280cm pilot boots fit super loose.

and, I feel you man. Currently poor, too, but I stocked on milsurp, and got me a nice parka + liner and these boots for about 100 Eur total, and that should last me for at least 3 years or more.

Well, from what I saw in the mall (Karstadt, you got those, too?) Clark's dress boots have terrible plasticky leather, and those will look like shit after roughly 3-4 months of daily wear.

In short:
The style is alright, the particular model is not. Rather try to grab some higher tier 2nd hand captoe oxfords (Allen Edmonds park avenue, Edward Green, Alden, Churchs) around the region of 150 Eur (feel free to look on worldwide ebay and grailes).
