What would you get between olive pants or pale blue jeans? I feel that the jeans would go with the whole Seinfeld interests me thing i got going on but the olive pants would add to my olive skin, i also wear a lot of earthtone tees and flannels.

What would you get between those two anons? Right now i only have a pair of black jeans and a pair of brown regular fit chinos that i tapered a bit.

Hey /fa/, are there some boots with aesthetics similar to Doc. Martens 1460? Regular docs are overpriced and have shit quality, made in England ones are just overpriced. There are also some similar-looking Solovair derbys, but I am not sure about quality, they are also pretty expensive. So, the question is: are there any similar looking boots that are built to last and are under 200$?

Ive had these boots for ages now, but I haven't worn them in a while as they're quite warm.

I wore them today for the first time in ages and they fucking killed my ankles, I have no idea why. They didn't used to

Has anyone had this happen before?

I'm on holiday and they're the only pair I bought so I'm going to be doing a shit ton of walking in them over the next few weeks so help would be appreciated

Solovair was the original company that made Docs i think? supposedly it's the same quality as their made in england line, since they didn't outsource. that's what i remember people saying on here, though, so i could be wrong

also if i order shoes from norse store (to USA)
for $270 will i have to pay delivery fees to fedex?

>> No.12080457

>Taxes
I am being charged import taxes on my order.
When shopping on norsestore.com from outside the EU our pricing is set to accommodate any import taxes you may encounter. Therefore the price you see is excluding the 25% Danish VAT. For example: A customer within the EU pays $100 for an item. The same item is sold to customers outside the EU for $80 but the same customer risks paying local import taxes on the item. These charges are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and are set by the local tax authorities in your country.

so, the retail price is 25% cheaper for you, and you might still have to pay shipping fees on top of that (unless they have free shipping perks).
Once the parcel enters the US, it might be held back in customs, and they'll calculate US import taxes which you'll pay to the customs office.

yes, it's 800 and below, at which you might not have to pay any import taxes as a US buyer, as that's not worth the effort for the US customs to pursue ("de minimis")
Basically, you get an instand 20% discount, and have to pay shipping if you're lucky.

weird question:

saw this homelesscore streetgoth kid with these off-white leggings.. they were kind of off white, seemed to be cotton, and they had a stacked or layered look to them even though the guy i was looking at wasn't a manlet. they were thick, like leg warmers, but i know they were leggings or long johns because the guy was wearing shorts. looked like some straight up hobo long johns or something.

i thought they were milsurp but i've checked everywhere and haven't found them. i know it's not a fashion piece because the guy was collecting cans and bottles on the street. i don't know why this piece has been stuck in my mind for so long...

I have a couple questions

Though there's a pair of sneakers I want to buy, should I buy them instead of clothes or invest more on expanding my limited wardrobe. I've got quite a alright rotation of shoes, minus dress shoes/smart shoes/boots which i need but not enough sweatshirts, trousers and other top wear.

Also any advice on a good place for basics, or any good sales. Not uniqlo, their knitwear is doodoo.

Where can I find good outerwear that's sub £150, what's a good warm jacket that'll do me good in winters while also preferably being waterproof (if it's not a overcoat).

Any good brands for sweatshirts and hoodies that are on sale?

mr p, sale on reigning champ, james perse and sunspel for sweatshirts and hoodies.

If you're willing to set on merino cable knits, I can recommend arancraft for inexpensive knitwear.

As for shoes, considering the weather, I'd rather invest in boots now than sneakers, unless you hope to grab a significant deal by buying anti-cyclically on the sneakers.

hah those are my boots. In general it seems to be helpful to size down on boots for half a size. My size 280cm surp GATs fit very snug, and these 280cm pilot boots fit super loose.

and, I feel you man. Currently poor, too, but I stocked on milsurp, and got me a nice parka + liner and these boots for about 100 Eur total, and that should last me for at least 3 years or more.

Aran has different styles, and are made in Ireland, so that might even save you some shipping costs.

Most German milsurp can be bought from ebay, yeah. Parkas are around 20 Eur, Liners around 15, Boots when not on sale around 90 new, 50 used. Gloves. Pullovers (pic) are around 25ish, but only made of cotton.

Just one thing, don't dress in full milsurp, as that looks fairly try-hard. Two pieces at most.

UK13 would be somewhat between BW 305 and 310. I'd rather go with 305 and choose a wider model (116 or 119 width), but you could just measure your feet yourself.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Bundeswehr-Pilotenstiefel-Sommer-BW-Fliegerstiefel-Stiefel-schwarz-/222321240360?var=&hash=item33c360e928:m:mmsQh8ZtFPK8LhV108QcE7Q

there is one size 310 in there in a rather used condition for 34 Eur.

looks like horribly failed dress up on your end. Black tie attire using navy suiting, cropped pants, showing visible ankles and wearing A.) non-patent leather B) slippers break all sorts of etiquette.

Not much I can say about your momma, but she could do for something more mature and less teenish 80ies prom attire, but then again, I'm completely uneducated on women etiquette, other than the length of the dress is appropriate, and she could have covered the shoulders with a scarf or or a stole.

As for boots, maybe look into british milsurp then? In terms of shipping, that makes the most sense, and you'll probably dye the camo garments to make them suitable for civilian wear. I'm not familiar with their models though.

Austrian Para boots come a bit closer to your combat boot aesthetic, I reckon.

This style (oxford cap toe) is pretty much the safest choice for dress shoes. It covers pretty much business casual up to semiformal.

>blabla bla quality
Well, from what I saw in the mall (Karstadt, you got those, too?) Clark's dress boots have terrible plasticky leather, and those will look like shit after roughly 3-4 months of daily wear.

In short:
The style is alright, the particular model is not. Rather try to grab some higher tier 2nd hand captoe oxfords (Allen Edmonds park avenue, Edward Green, Alden, Churchs) around the region of 150 Eur (feel free to look on worldwide ebay and grailes). You'll end up with something still superior to those clarks.
