The first wave skinheads in the 60s were very influenced by African music and fashion. They weren't really associated with politics at all. The second wave in the 80s split into two groups of far right and far left. The right was very nationalist/racist with all the neo-Nazi shit and the left were more anarchist and anti fascist.

That pic is from the late 70s early 80s. The national front had recruited a lot of impressionable young skinheads by then. As for the originals, a lot of them didn't like Asians but skinheads were usually school age or a bit older and were easily influenced by there parents backwards attitudes too.
