High rise generally looks retarded as fuck outside of photoshoots on guys. Hell, it looks retarded even in photoshoots. It can look pretty sexy on some girls, but who gives a fuck about girls.

Mid rise is the best.

the high rise jeans are usually thrift shop finds, don't know of many new manufacures (could be wrong). Old school denim was 100% denim, not like nowdays where even men's jeans tend to have 1-3% spandex mixed in. Makes for much more comfortable longer lasting jeans. I wonder if the perception of high rise jeans would change if ppl could get their hands on ones with new-tech denim.
